Import creatives from Meta
Bring images and videos you already have in your Meta ad account into your creative library, without downloading them first.
Your Meta ad account already holds the images and videos you have used before. You can bring those into Adtool directly, instead of downloading them and uploading them again.
Step-by-step guide
1. Open Upload and choose the Meta Library tab
Go to Upload in the left-hand navigation, with the ad account you want to import into selected. The Meta Library tab sits after Direct Upload and Google Drive. Click Browse your Meta library to open the browser.

2. Find the assets you want and import them
The grid shows the images and videos in the selected ad account, newest first. Filter by All, Images or Videos, search by name, or narrow the grid with the Dimensions filter. Turn on Hide already imported to leave out anything that is already in your creative library.
Click a tile to select it. Hold Shift and click to select a range, or drag a box across the grid to select several at once. You can import up to 50 assets in one run. Click Import when your selection is ready. The library closes and the import runs in the background, so you can keep working while the upload indicator shows the progress.

3. Use the imported creatives
Imported assets appear in your creative library as normal creatives. You can tag them, group them, and select them for a launch the same way as an upload.
What importing does
Importing changes nothing in your Meta ad account. The asset stays where it is, and Adtool adds a creative to your library that points at it. Names come from Meta and cannot be changed during the import.
If the library is empty, or an asset you expected is missing:
The ad account must be connected to your own Facebook login. If it is not, the tab says so instead of listing assets. See Manage connections.
An asset already in your creative library is skipped instead of imported twice. Turn off
Hide already importedto see it in the grid.A video that Meta is still processing does not appear yet. Wait a few minutes and reopen the library.
If Meta is limiting requests for the account, the grid says so. Wait a minute and try again.
