Image or video ads
Learn how to select, group, review, and launch single image or video ads in Adtool.
Use image or video ads when each ad should be built from one creative or one creative group. This is the standard launch flow for single-image ads, single-video ads, and ads that use the same creative in multiple placement formats.
Step-by-step guide
1. Open Launch
Go to Launch and click Select Creatives.

2. Select the creatives for the batch
Select every creative you want to include in this image or video ad launch, then click Continue.
You can select creatives across different placement formats. For example, if you want to launch ads with 1x1, 4x5, and 9x16 versions, select all of those files before continuing.
Use filters, Select all, or click and drag to select several creatives faster.
3. Group matching placements
Adtool automatically groups creatives when their names match and the placement size is the only difference. For example, Video V6 9x16 and Video V6 4x5 can be grouped together because they share the same base name and use different placement formats.
If the creatives are not grouped automatically, drag them into the correct group manually before continuing. For a deeper explanation of supported placement tags and matching rules, see the auto-grouping guide.
4. Add ad details
Click Continue, then fill out the remaining ad information, including primary text, headline, description, CTA, and any other required launch settings.
Review the previews for each placement before launching so you can confirm the creative and text look correct together.
5. Launch the ads
When the batch is ready, click Launch.
